Detailed description
The Particle-In-Cell Scalable Application Resource (PICSAR) is a high performance repository intended to help scientists porting their Particle-In-Cell (PIC) codes to the next generation of exascale computers. PICSARlite is a subset of the PICSAR suite that allows testing of smaller electromagnetic Particle-In-Cell kernels. PICSARlite is built by the user from the PICSAR source code, based on options to subselect among the various field solvers, current deposition, field gather and particle pusher algorithms, as well as the level of optimization.
